Weddings
At Holy Trinity we love to see couples joined together in marriage. With flexible seating we are able to arrange the church to suit your needs and to make sure that your day is as special as you.
Church weddings are unique as:
-
They add a spiritual dimension to your marriage. The ceremony includes God and asks Him for His blessing, help and guidance.
-
You become connected with God and our church community who will continue to be there for you after the ceremony, if you choose, to help you keep your vows.
-
You are given the help and support of the Vicar to help you blend ancient tradition and modern experience to reflect your story
-
You become part of history by marrying in a building where so many others have made this commitment before you
You can marry at Holy Trinity if one of you lives within our parish boundary (
Check our parish boundary here) or is on our electoral roll. There may be other qualifying conditions that will enable you to marry at Holy Trinity. The best thing to do is to
contact us to discuss the next step.
If you don't meet any of the qualifying criteria, you could create one, simply by attending one of our usual services at least once a month for six consecutive months and then applying to be on the electoral roll. If you decide to do this, leave enough time after your attendance for the banns to be read before your wedding too. The reading of your Banns of Marriage will take place during a usual Sunday morning service on 3 consecutive Sundays within 3 months prior to your wedding day.
If you live in our parish, but choose to get married in another church then we would still love to support you as you prepare for the wedding, and afterwards too.
Please
contact us well in advance to find out more.
